Before starting the setup of printer in windows make sure that the latest version of JRE and JDK are installed.
Open start up application in your linux system.
STEP 1:
Login to jdomni.com and login using login credintials. Once logged in, go to POS.
STEP 2:
Click on the LHS Menu and select Admin Settings
STEP 3:
Go to PrinterSetup
STEP 4:
Download the setup
STEP 5:
Once downloaded, copy the Posprinter.jar that you just downloaded to C:\Windwos\System32 location and execute it by clicking on it.
STEP 6:
Enter product key. Product key can be accessed in step 4
STEP 7:
Once product key is entered correctly, you will be able to see the list of printers installed. Select the printers that you want to integrate with POS
STEP 8: Add printers
Go to Manage PrinterAdd New Select a printer from the list of printers available and assign it a name for your reference
Added printer will be visible in the Manage printer section
STEP 9 :
Assign a global printer. This will be the default printer for all the tasks.
2. WINDOW
Setting up printer for Window.
Before starting the setup of printer in windows make sure that the latest version of JRE and JDK are installed.
Step 1.
Create a folder in C drive name as Printer. Paste the jar file here and execute it. (Jar file is available at Admin settings-> Printers->setup printers->download ssetup)
(Path will be like this C:\Printer\Posprinter.jar)
Step 2.
Create a task Scheduler. Click window+R on your keyboard. A popup will open,
type Taskschd.msc and click on OK.
Step 3.
Task schedular window modal will open.
On your left pannel, u will find Task Scheduler Library, select and right click on it.
Step 4.
From option select Import Task, where you have select this printer.xml file. (XML file can be downloaded from goo.gl/L5K1nX)
Step 5.
On add of xml file one popup box will open. Add name as Printer. Click Save to proceed.
Step 6.
On clicking save it will ask for password. Enter the system password and save. Close the Task Schedular.
Step 7.
Enter product key.
Step 8.
Once product key is entered correctly, you will be able to see the list of printers installed. Select the printers that you want to integrate with POS.
Step 9.
Add printers
Go to Manage PrinterAdd New Select a printer from the list of printers available and assign it a name for your reference.
Added printer will be visible in the Manage printer section
Step 10.
Assign a global printer. This will be the default printer for all the tasks.
